MUSEUM OF NORTHERN BC

The Iconic Northwest Coast Longhouse overlooking Prince Rupert Harbour is home to the Museum of Northern BC, internationally known for its exceptional collection and the quality of its exhibits. The Museum draws visitors from around the world to experience its unique celebration of cultures and histories.
The Atrium will provide meaningful display and protection to a historic totem pole long kept in storage; as well as creating a public space for informal gathering and relaxation.
The Atrium will incorporate advanced glazing technology to provide a light and striking shelter in harmony and enhancement of the existing heavy timber facility.
